Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uestus Johnston (ranked 5946 p4p, 5968 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 553 p4p, 555 weight class). Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Clint Eastwood- Gorillaz. Uestus Johnston has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Uestus Johnston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnston tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balboa was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnston. A shot to the body from Balboa misses and Johnston counters with a straight right hand. Balboa fails in his attempt to clinch. Balboa looks to land a body kick but Johnston moved away. It looked like Johnston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Balboa jabs Johnston to the body, keeping him at a distance. Johnston lands with an uppercut that bounces Balboa off the cage and back into range. We've been told by Johnston's head coaches at JAG Battle Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Uestus Johnston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnston sizes up Balboa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. No joy there for Johnston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Balboa looks like he wants to counter punch here. Balboa shoots for a takedown but Johnston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Balboa fails miserably with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnston lands an overhand right. Balboa needs to keep his hands up - Johnston had a free shot at his head there. Johnston defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Balboa. Uestus Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnston lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Balboa there as he acknowledges the shot. Balboa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnston as he jumps to the side. Johnston lands a jab to Balboa's midsection. Balboa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Balboa shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnston defends it nicely. Johnston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Balboa wants to counter the offense by Johnston and move into the clinch position. Balboa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Uestus Johnston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Balboa swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnston misses with a wild body shot. Johnston lands with a nice combination. Balboa backs away looking to recover. Balboa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnston but Johnston pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnston throws a right and a left that both miss. This has been an exciting period of action! Balboa fails to land the takedown. Johnston throws a series of punches but Balboa avoids them all with ease. Johnston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnston pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Balboa back to the cage. Johnston follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Johnston lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Balboa backs up against the cage.
Balboa misses with a takedown and Johnston counters with a right hand to the body. Johnston lands a nice shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnston throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Johnston darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Johnston lands a really nice looking cross but Balboa seems unphased.

Balboa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Johnston scores with a nice head shot. The crowd cheers as Johnston lands an impressive looking overhand right. Balboa doesn't seem phased though. Johnston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnston stuns Balboa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Johnston swings for the body but Balboa moves out of range.
Balboa throws out a counter right but Johnston avoids it with no problem. Balboa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balboa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Balboa wants to counter the offense by Johnston and move into the clinch position. Balboa fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnston lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balboa circles away quickly and effectively. Johnston is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Johnston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Balboa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnston but Johnston pushes him off and we're back to square one. Johnston bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balboa's head. Balboa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Johnston scores with a jab. Balboa acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Johnston dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Balboa walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Balboa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Uestus Johnston dominated that round. That's time! Johnston's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Balboa misses with a head kick.
Johnston tests Balboa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Uestus Johnston is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Balboa misses with a takedown attempt - Johnston sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Balboa has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Johnston throws a good cross that connects.
Johnston connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Balboa rushes Johnston and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Johnston lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Johnston tries a body shot but Balboa blocks it.

letting Johnston counter with a right hand. Balboa is looking to clinch. It looked like Johnston was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Johnston slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Johnston lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Balboa on the side of the head. Balboa fails with the takedown and Johnston counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Uestus Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Balboa. Johnston lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The fighters circle momentarily. Johnston darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Balboa wants to clinch up but Johnston keeps it at a distance. Balboa has a takedown stuffed. Balboa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Balboa misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balboa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnston avoids it really well and circles away. Johnston throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
This has been an exciting period of action! Sloppy strikes from Johnston. Those never looked like landing. Johnston scores with a decent looking hook. Balboa is looking to clinch. Johnston lands with a cross. Johnston lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Balboa takes one to the chin there. Balboa fails with the takedown and Johnston connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Balboa on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Some wild striking there from Balboa.

Balboa is breathing heavily. Balboa misses with a takedown enabling Johnston to counter with a crisp jab. Johnston tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Balboa was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnston. Johnston thuds his right hand into Balboa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Johnston throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Balboa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Johnston throws a good cross that connects.
Balboa is rocked! Johnston tests Balboa's chin there with a solid looking shot. Balboa is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnston finish him? Uestus Johnston is winning the standup battle so far. Johnston throws a series of strikes that have Balboa backpedaling.
Balboa shoots and misses and Johnston counters with a crisp right that sends Balboa to the canvas! Johnston follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uestus Johnston!
