Mazepin comes into the arena with boom blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazepin blocks a head kick by Williams.
Mazepin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Mazepin ducks under a wild hook from Williams.
As Williams looks to move away, Mazepin throws a big counter combo but Williams just gets out of the way.
Nice takedown defense from Williams. No joy for Mazepin on that attempt.
Mazepin shoots in and drives through. Williams sprawls well.
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mazepin dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Mazepin's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Mazepin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mazepin tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mazepin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Williams throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams tests Mazepin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Williams stuffs the takedown attempt from Mazepin. Mazepin gets slowly back to his feet.

Williams swings for the body but Mazepin moves out of range.
Williams throws a hook but Mazepin blocks it.
Williams throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mazepin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Williams lands a left and a right that send Mazepin crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Williams throws the left hand but Mazepin avoids the punch easily.
Williams thows a left - swing and a miss!
Williams finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Mazepin is just out of range.
Mazepin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Williams connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Mazepin to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Williams!
