The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Soldier Bear fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Omelchenko avoids it really well and circles away.
Omelchenko looks to land a left hand but The Soldier Bear moved out of range nicely.
The Soldier Bear takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The Soldier Bear rushes Omelchenko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The Soldier Bear drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The Soldier Bear breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Omelchenko throws a jab but it's blocked by The Soldier Bear.
