Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Whissell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Chansta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whissell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Rose Of Sharon. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Whissell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anton Chansta! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whissell misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Whissell doesn't manage to clinch there - Chansta circles away.
Whissell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Whissell clinches up with Chansta and pushes him back against the cage. Chansta drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Whissell gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Chansta has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Whissell is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whissell is pressed up against the cage. Chansta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Whissell down to the mat. Whissell avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. George Whissell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anton Chansta. Nice sprawl there from Chansta as Whissell shoots in. Chansta lands a nice leg kick that just misses Whissell's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Chansta, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Whissell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chansta circles away. Chansta wants to clinch but Whissell slips to the side and Whissell counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Whissell. Whissell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chansta has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Whissell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Whissell scoring with punches to the head and body. Whissell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chansta swivels though and keeps the full guard. Whissell works over Chansta with some ground and pound from guard. Whissell tries to free his leg and advance position but Chansta is retaining full guard. Chansta looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chansta has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Whissell should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chansta has tightened it up now! Whissell should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
