Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keke Kivi (ranked 382 p4p, 743 weight class) and Lucas Barbosa (ranked 52 p4p, 115 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivi swings for the body but Barbosa moves out of range.
Barbosa feints the counter takedown.
Kivi throws a hook but Barbosa avoids it easily.
Kivi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kivi throws a shot from downtown. Barbosa moves away and avoids it.
Barbosa feints the counter takedown.
Barbosa tries to clinch but Kivi moves out of range.
Kivi thuds his right hand into Barbosa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Lucas Barbosa has been cut.
Barbosa moves in looking to clinch but Kivi pushes him off.
It looked like Kivi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kivi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Barbosa moves away from the strike by Kivi.
And Barbosa tries to counter it with a takedown but Kivi pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kivi throws a looping overhand right but Barbosa ducks down to avoid it.

A telegraphed right hand from Kivi misses the target.
Keke Kivi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kivi throws a body punch but Barbosa moves out of range.
Barbosa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

That has opened up Lucas Barbosa's cut even more.
The fighters circling - Kivi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Barbosa changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Kivi throws a lazy uppercut

and Barbosa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Barbosa drops back looking for a leg! Kivi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kivi manages to kick Barbosa off! Barbosa jumps back into Kivi's guard.
Barbosa passes easily into side control. Nice work.
