Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Selem Fellbiest (ranked 3348 p4p, 3808 weight class) and Freddy Barnes (ranked 438 p4p, 501 weight class). Selem Fellbiest has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Selem Fellbiest! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Barnes! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fellbiest throws a head kick but Barnes moves out of range.
Barnes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fellbiest defends it well. Barnes looks to score with a jab to the body but Fellbiest is just out of range. Barnes slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Barnes blocks a head kick by Fellbiest.
Fellbiest ducks under a wild hook from Barnes. Fellbiest throws a leg kick but Barnes sees it coming and moves out of range. Barnes throws a hook but Fellbiest blocks it. Some bone on bone action there as Fellbiest checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A shot to the body from Barnes misses and Fellbiest counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Fellbiest lands with a shot to the body. Fellbiest dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fellbiest misses with an uppercut
and Barnes counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fellbiest! This has been an exciting period of action! Fellbiest managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Barnes.
Fellbiest is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnes advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Barnes scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Fellbiest?
Fellbiest is trying desperately to improve position. Barnes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Barnes is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Fellbiest is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Fellbiest flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Barnes anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Fellbiest and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Barnes slips an arm under Fellbiest chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Barnes has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Barnes is squeezing on Fellbiest like an anaconda would it's prey. Fellbiest fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Freddy Barnes! Freddy Barnes is the new light heavyweight champion! The defeated Selem Fellbiest had this to say: 'hey, it's all a learning process. Rest assured I will learn from this and come back stronger! Kudos to my opponent. He showed up tonight a stronger man.'.
