Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Maddalena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JohnnYYYY Bomber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedro Maddalena! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, JohnnYYYY Bomber! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Bomber or perhaps it was just good defense by Maddalena which made him look bad. Maddalena takes a body punch but keeps moving. Maddalena feints and as Bomber raises his hands in defense, Maddalena changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Maddalena stopping the sweep attempt from Bomber. Maddalena stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bomber swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bomber escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maddalena gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Maddalena is stalling in the full guard. Bomber wants to sweep here but Maddalena controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maddalena wants to pass the guard but Bomber is keeping the position. Maddalena wants to control from the top but Bomber keeps moving. Maddalena thows a big elbow that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Maddalena shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Maddalena content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maddalena seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bomber for as long as he can get away with. Maddalena is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maddalena in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Bomber tries to lock up and control but Maddalena gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bomber gets back to half guard. Maddalena is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Still in half guard, Maddalena seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bomber tries to roll over but Maddalena keeps him under control. Maddalena is trying to control the action in half guard but Bomber is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Maddalena prevents Bomber from improving his position. Bomber wants to get back to his feet. Bomber is refusing to be controlled, as Maddalena sits in half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bomber fails with the takedown and Maddalena counters with a takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bomber struggling a bit here. Maddalena tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bomber's legs. Maddalena fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Maddalena tries to score with some ground and pound. Bomber controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Bomber wants to control but Maddalena postures up. Maddalena could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bomber is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pedro Maddalena dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bomber shoots and misses and Maddalena counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Maddalena is taking a breather. Bomber says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bomber trying to control from the bottom.
Maddalena seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bomber is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bomber is trying to stand up here but Maddalena is controlling him well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Maddalena in particular looking to stall. Bomber is looking to control Maddalena's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bomber avoid being mounted? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomber tries to get to full guard but Maddalena has control of the leg. Bomber regains full guard. Nicely done. Maddalena seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Maddalena has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bomber will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bomber throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Maddalena stands and throws Bomber's legs to the side, diving into side control. Maddalena wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bomber, who protects the arm well. Bomber tries to bench press Maddalena off him but Maddalena keeps the position. Maddalena blocks the strikes from Bomber.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bomber gets back to half guard. Maddalena is trying to control the action in half guard but Bomber is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pedro Maddalena overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Maddalena is trying to work for a kimura but Bomber is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Maddalena is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bomber wants to control but Maddalena is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bomber is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Pedro Maddalena dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Maddalena shoots for a takedown but Bomber saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bomber throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bomber swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Maddalena counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Maddalena trying to pass the guard but Bomber defending well. Bomber is pressing down on Maddalena's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Maddalena looking to pass the guard. Maddalena looking to sit in guard and control but Bomber gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Maddalena is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bomber tries to stand but Maddalena is controlling from the bottom. Bomber won't allow Maddalena to sweep him here. Bomber trying to control but Maddalena is working from the bottom. Bomber wants to get up but he can't break Maddalena's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bomber wants to control from the top but Maddalena keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bomber closes the distance but Maddalena moves to the side and Maddalena counters by moving into the clinch. Bomber gets control of Maddalena's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bomber will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Maddalena working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bomber's head. Maddalena controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Maddalena lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Maddalena stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bomber swivels though and keeps the full guard. Maddalena stops Bomber from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bomber keeping full guard, as Maddalena tries to pass. Maddalena would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Maddalena tries to free his leg and advance position but Bomber is retaining full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bomber gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Maddalena counters with a takedown into side control. Bomber is letting Maddalena control him for a moment. Bomber is trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maddalena lands a nice forearm strike. Bomber tries to buck Maddalena off but Maddalena is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Bomber's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Maddalena stands up and beckons Bomber to his feet. Bomber fails with an attempt to clinch.
JohnnYYYY Bomber has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pedro Maddalena is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Maddalena shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Maddalena was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that's the end of the fight! Pedro Maddalena showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maddalena, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
