Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Mary gets a takedown into half guard.
Salvacion blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mary.

Mary is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Mary goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward.

Mary dives in and grabs Salvacion's left leg, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes down on Mary's head and hops out.
Helen Salvacion has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Virgin Mary.

Mary seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Mary is thwarting Salvacion's attempts to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mary shoots in but Salvacion avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mary is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Mary circles away and we're back to standing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Salvacion tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mary defends well and Salvacion ends up having to push Mary into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mary feints a counter leg kick.

Mary has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Salvacion is trying to keep an underhook but Mary manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Salvacion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mary tries to avoid it but Salvacion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mary to the ground. Mary escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mary has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mary looks for the body kick but Salvacion saw that one coming.
Salvacion moves out of range as Mary throws a body kick.
And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Mary blocks it.
Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mary looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Salvacion throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Salvacion throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Mary is trying to improve his position.
Who's going to make the next move?
Mary is trying to buck Salvacion off.

Mary controls the position for a moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Mary sneaks out the side door and pushes Salvacion away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Mary shoots in for a takedown but Salvacion shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Salvacion fails with the takedown.
Mary steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

and Mary counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Mary takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Virgin Mary comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
