The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle misses with a right hand
and Doyle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Doyle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Doyle tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Doyle swings widly with a right hand
and Petrov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Doyle connects with a jab.
Petrov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Petrov throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Petrov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A punch lands to the side of Petrov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A jab from Doyle misses.
Jimmy Doyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Doyle.
Doyle drops his hands momentarily and Petrov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Petrov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Doyle has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Petrov.

Doyle takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Doyle wants to clinch up but Petrov keeps it at a distance.

Doyle pivots, looking for a leg kick but Petrov is out of range and Doyle settles back down.
Petrov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Petrov moves away from the strike by Doyle.
Petrov lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Petrov bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
A big right from Doyle misses.
Petrov has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Petrov feints a jab and as Doyle dips his head, Petrov unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Doyle right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Doyle falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Petrov smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
