PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Mardov (ranked 3528 p4p, 2116 weight class) and Duster Bouglas (ranked 466 p4p, 291 weight class). Duster Bouglas told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mardov. Bouglas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bouglas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mardov.
Mardov throws a sloppy body shot
and Bouglas counters with a slapping leg kick.
Mardov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Bouglas counter with a right hand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bouglas.
Mardov closes the distance looking to clinch
and Bouglas counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mardov's knee momentarily.

It looks like Randy Mardov has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh Mardov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duster Bouglas decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
