And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Chucky Loader!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loader lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Patterson shoots in for a double leg but Loader sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Loader steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Patterson.
Loader cracks Patterson with a good jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Loader.
Patterson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Loader manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Loader trying to control the position here.
Loader looking for a guillotine here but Patterson defends easily.
Patterson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Loader's head.

Loader is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Patterson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Loader looking to hit a scissor sweep but Patterson is one step ahead there.
Loader is trying to keep Patterson in close.
Patterson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Patterson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Patterson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Loader looking for subs off his back but Patterson has passed one foot through into half guard.
Patterson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Loader!

Patterson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Loader is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Loader is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Loader wants to control but Patterson is having none of it.
Loader is trying to reverse the position but instead Patterson has taken his back - oops!
You can see the frustration on Loader's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Patterson is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Loader with him. Loader is trying to defend but Patterson has an arm under the chin now! Loader grimaces and is forced to tap out!
