Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harry Winks (ranked 1004 p4p, 1215 weight class) and Santiago Costa (ranked 151 p4p, 182 weight class). Santiago Costa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Winks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 26 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Santiago Costa! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Costa misses the target. Costa moves into range and clinches up with Winks. Costa lands a shot to the body. Costa lands a hook that snaps the head of Winks backwards. Winks blocks an uppercut.
Costa misses with a body punch.
Winks misses with a hook from the clinch. Winks makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Winks has Costa pressed against the cage, preventing Costa from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Winks tries to throw a body punch but Costa avoids it by throwing Winks back against the cage. Costa lands a hook that snaps the head of Winks backwards. Winks struggles to land a body shot inside as Costa controls his hands.
Winks blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Winks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Costa digs a right hand into Winks's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Winks's gas tank. Winks lands with a right to the head. Winks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Costa checks a low kick from Winks. Winks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Costa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Costa ducks under a wild hook from Winks. Nice straight punches there by Winks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Winks.

It looks like Harry Winks has been cut. Costa misses with a hook. Winks ducked under it nicely. Winks tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Costa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Winks throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Winks lands with a cross. Costa misses with a right hand and Winks counters with a lovely shot to the body. Winks's corner calls for a 1-2. Winks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Winks has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight. Winks tries to keep at a distance but Costa has taken the fight into the clinch. Costa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Costa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Winks moves in looking to clinch but Costa pushes him off. Winks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Costa with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Costa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Winks counters with an inside leg kick. Winks throws a lazy uppercut
and Costa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Costa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Winks was well out of range. Poor timing from Costa. Winks is looking to counter with a body kick. Costa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Costa moves out of range as Winks throws a body kick.

Costa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Costa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Winks's elbow. Costa tries to throw a body punch but Winks avoids it by throwing Costa back against the cage. Winks lands with a short shot to the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Costa. Winks lands with a short shot to the head. Winks goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Winks's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Costa scores with a hook to the body. Costa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Costa working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Winks manages to break the clinch.
Costa lands a jab to the head.
Jab by Winks. Winks wants to clinch but Costa slips to the side and Costa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Costa lunges at Winks with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Winks's hand. Costa tries to clinch up but Winks circles away and keeps his distance. Winks was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Winks pushes Costa away with a front kick. Winks has a takedown stuffed. Costa has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Costa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Winks sees it coming and avoids it easily. Costa lands a jab-cross combination.
Winks is rocked! Winks tries to clinch up but Costa circles away and keeps his distance. Oh Winks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Costa blocks a jab. A swing and a miss from Costa. Santiago Costa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Costa drops Winks with a huge uppercut! Winks drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Costa is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santiago Costa! Santiago Costa very nearly forgot to thank FUClothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
