Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Spinning Fire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Nolan!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nolan scores with a body shot.
Nolan throws a good cross that connects.
Nolan throws a hook to the side of Fire's head but Fire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nolan throws a looping overhand right but Fire ducks down to avoid it.
Fire changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Nolan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fire drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nolan sprawls and moves away.
Nolan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nolan misses with a looping right.
Fire showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nolan.

Fire moves away from the strike by Nolan.
Fire takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fire has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Fire avoids the body shot from Nolan.

Nolan lands a left and a right that send Fire crashing to the mat, dazed. Nolan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fire is rocked!

It looks like Spinning Fire has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nolan throws a lazy right hand but Fire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fire feinted with a counter takedown.
Nolan throws the left hand but Fire avoids the punch easily.
Nolan looks to score with a jab to the body but Fire is just out of range.
Fire attempts a counter takedown but Nolan avoids it well and moves away.
Fire takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Nolan misses with a looping right.
Nolan misses with an uppercut

and Fire counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Nolan!
Fire scoring with punches and elbows.
Nolan is trying to buck Fire off.
Nolan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Fire.
Fire misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Nolan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fire. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nolan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Fire lands an elbow.
Fire has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Nolan!

Fire breaks from Nolan's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
BOOM! Fire connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fire cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Nolan is rocked!
Fire postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Nolan is out cold - huge knockout for Fire!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Spinning Fire!
A relieved looking Spinning Fire thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
