Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Krit Leekpai (ranked 20244 p4p, 23241 weight class) and Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 780 p4p, 771 weight class). De Sucre has chosen Bolivianos el Hado Propicio as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Sucre takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Leekpai connects with a right hand. De Sucre shakes it off.

As De Sucre tries to get set, Leekpai tries to push him back and clinch up but De Sucre manages to avoid the attempt.

Leekpai stalks De Sucre and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into De Sucre's face. De Sucre staggers backwards, shaken.

Leekpai lands a nice hook to De Sucre's body. De Sucre takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Leekpai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Leekpai dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Leekpai plants his feet and throws a devastating head kick! It connects square on De Sucre's ear and has knocked him out cold! No need for a count here as the referee immediately tends to a stricken De Sucre, crumpled in the corner! Wow, what a finish!

In his post fight interview, Krit Leekpai started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
