Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthon Van Der Dusse!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Oliveira circles away from the clinch attempt

and De Oliveira decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Van Der Dusse's guard.
De Oliveira stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van Der Dusse swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Van Der Dusse is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
De Oliveira postures up in Van Der Dusse's guard and throws a big left but Van Der Dusse blocks it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Van Der Dusse avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Van Der Dusse is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Van Der Dusse stands up over De Oliveira, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

De Oliveira isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Van Der Dusse stacks De Oliveira on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Van Der Dusse!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Van Der Dusse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in De Oliveira's guard.

De Oliveira is looking to cinch up a triangle. Van Der Dusse throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to De Oliveira's body to avoid the submission. De Oliveira has instead reached around Van Der Dusse's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! De Oliveira arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Florisvaldo De Oliveira!
Florisvaldo De Oliveira was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
