Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renat Dadasov (ranked 2046 p4p, 1128 weight class) and Kyle Austin (ranked 283 p4p, 168 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Renat Dadasov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Austin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dadasov wants to slow Austin down by chopping away at his legs. Dadasov clinches. Dadasov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Austin has Dadasov up against the cage in a clinch.
Austin's coach down at EFC Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Austin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Austin with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Austin lands an elbow inside that Dadasov shrugs off. Dadasov blocks an elbow strike. Austin misses with a knee strike.

Dadasov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. A leg kick checked by Dadasov. Austin staying out of range there. Dadasov misses with a hook. Austin ducked under it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin tries to clinch up. Austin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dadasov paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dadasov throws a nice outside leg kick. Austin moves out of range of the leg kick from Dadasov. Dadasov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Austin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Dadasov checks it well. Dadasov feinted there with a counter leg kick. Dadasov throws a leg kick that misses. Dadasov backing away here, and Austin unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Austin throws a sloppy head kick and Dadasov moves out of range easily. Dadasov throws a head kick that misses. Dadasov stuns Austin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Austin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dadasov manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Austin. Dadasov does a little dance to reset his feet. Renat Dadasov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dadasov throws a chopping leg kick but Austin manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Austin misses with a straight left. Some wild striking there from Austin.
This has been an exciting period of action! Dadasov circles away from the clinch attempt and Dadasov counters with a low kick, right behind Austin 's knee. Austin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dadasov paws at him with a jab and circles away. No joy there for Dadasov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close round but I would say that Renat Dadasov will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dadasov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Austin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Dadasov just misses with a punch to the body.
Dadasov closes the distance and clinches. Dadasov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Austin's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Renat Dadasov will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kyle Austin's cut. That's time! Dadasov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Dadasov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Oooooh!!! Austin has knocked Dadasov down with a huge combo! Austin steps away and waves a wobbly Dadasov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Austin cracks Dadasov with a hook to the temple - Dadasov is on wobbly legs here! Austin swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Dadasov falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Austin wins by TKO!
