Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Sunshine (ranked 4286 p4p, 4864 weight class) and Toko Kiriko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sunshine comes to the cage accompanied by IU - Lilac. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiriko shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sunshine eats them both and turns towards Kiriko to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Raymond Sunshine has been cut.
Sunshine shoots in for a double leg but Kiriko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sunshine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kiriko's guard.

Sunshine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kiriko looking for a sweep. Not yet Kiriko, not yet.
Kiriko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sunshine. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sunshine passes Kiriko's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Sunshine trying to control from half guard but Kiriko is working away.

Sunshine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kiriko sees it coming and defends easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kiriko is trying to stand up here but Sunshine is controlling him well.
Kiriko is staying active underneath Sunshine, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kiriko is looking for a sweep. Sunshine is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Sunshine is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kiriko is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
