Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Lachmann (ranked 1503 p4p, 2758 weight class) and Reilly Yates (ranked 223 p4p, 369 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachmann shoots in and drives through. Yates sprawls well.

Yates scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Yates wants to control but Lachmann is having none of it.
Yates is controlling an arm, preventing Lachmann from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Yates is squirming around, avoiding Lachmann's attempts to control the action.

Lachmann shoots for a double leg takedown but Yates sprawls well. He's pushed Lachmann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Lachmann backs off Yates throws a huge counter combo but Lachmann manages to avoid it all.
Lachmann is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Yates can do to turn this around?

Lachmann closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yates really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lachmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
