The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklyn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Franklyn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dick's head.
Franklyn slips under a jab from Dick.
Dick walks into a left hand.
Dick doesn't manage to clinch there - Franklyn circles away.
Dick ducks under a wild hook from Franklyn .
Franklyn thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dick appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Franklyn connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Needle Dick has been cut.
Franklyn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It seemed like Dick was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Franklyn misses with a hook. Dick ducked under it nicely.
Dick swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Wilson Franklyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Dick counters with a crisp right hand that drops Franklyn ! Dick lets Franklyn back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Franklyn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dick finds Franklyn 's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Franklyn flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Dick lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Franklyn will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Needle Dick!
Needle Dick decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
