Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Aztec (ranked 1748 p4p, 750 weight class) and Death Minister (ranked 226 p4p, 101 weight class). Minister has chosen Rhapsody of Fire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chief Aztec has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Aztec!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Death Minister!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aztec fails in his attempt to clinch.
Aztec takes a jab right on the kisser.
Minister moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Aztec tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Minister paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Minister! But no joy.
Minister scores with a punch to the head.
Aztec doesn't manage to clinch there - Minister circles away.
Minister scores with a jab to the jaw.
Aztec closes the distance looking to clinch
and Minister counters with a nice right hand that sends Aztec toppling to the canvas! Aztec scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Minister finish him?!
Aztec is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Minister cracks Aztec with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aztec tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Minister pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aztec is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Death Minister!
In his post fight interview, Death Minister started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
