Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Frost (ranked 3219 p4p, 5261 weight class) and Kenshin Himura (ranked 185 p4p, 279 weight class). John Frost has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenshin Himura! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Himura fails with the takedown and Frost counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Himura tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Frost smiles and moves away.
Frost fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Himura, pushing him back against the ropes. Himura jumps guard but Frost stands there with Himura around his waist. Himura gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
John Frost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kenshin Himura. Himura breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Himura closes the distance and clinches up with Frost, looking for a takedown. Himura pushes Frost against the ropes but Frost circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Himura takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost closes the distance and pushes Himura back into the ropes. Frost lands with a light punch inside. Himura jumps guard but Frost stands there with Himura around his waist. Himura gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Himura jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frost walks away with a smile on his face. Himura gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Frost throws a shot to the body.
Himura with a poor takedown and Frost counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Frost lands with an uppercut that bounces Himura off the ropes and back into range.
It looks like Kenshin Himura has been cut. Frost defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Himura. Frost dips to his left and cracks Himura with an uppercut!
Himura is rocked! Frost moves into the clinch successfully.
Himura is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him? Himura escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frost really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Frost batters Himura with a massive right followed by a huge left! Himura is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Frost lands a final crushing right hand to drop Himura to the mat with a gruesome thud! Frost is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). John Frost! A relieved looking John Frost thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
