Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sami Rantanen (ranked 541 p4p, 617 weight class) and Kyle Switzer (ranked 81 p4p, 93 weight class). Switzer has chosen The Rolling Stones - Street Fighting Man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Switzer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Switzer lands a big head kick that sends Rantanen tumbling to the mat! Switzer takes a step backwards and waves Rantanen back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Sami Rantanen has been cut.
Switzer throws a body shot but no joy.
Rantanen misses with a jab, cross combination.
It seemed like Switzer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Switzer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rantanen swings widly with a right hand
and Switzer counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rantanen looks to score with a jab to the body but Switzer is just out of range.
Rantanen throws a lazy uppercut
letting Switzer counter with a right hand.
Sami Rantanen's cut is getting worse.
Rantanen throws a right and a left that Switzer avoids nicely.
Rantanen takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Rantanen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rantanen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Switzer manages to avoid it.
Switzer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Switzer throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rantanen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rantanen lands a lovely overhand right.
Rantanen avoids the head kick by Switzer.
Rantanen misses with a body punch
and Switzer counters with a nice body kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A less than humble Kyle Switzer misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
