Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alkyoneus Pallene (ranked 3173 p4p, 2515 weight class) and Clarence Hoost (ranked 387 p4p, 302 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pallene might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to All Star Chuck Taylors - Andre Nickatina. Alkyoneus Pallene had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clarence Hoost!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoost lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Alkyoneus Pallene has been cut.
Pallene throws a big shot that misses.
Hoost on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Pallene throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hoost moves out of range of the strikes.
Pallene jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Hoost appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Alkyoneus Pallene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pallene swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
It seemed like Hoost was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hoost lands a big uppercut and Pallene crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pallene looks OK. Hoost waves Pallene back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hoost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pallene.
Oh Pallene is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pallene seems to have got his legs back now.

Pallene doesn't manage to clinch there - Hoost circles away.
Hoost takes a swing at Pallene's ribcage but misses.
Pallene lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pallene cracks Hoost with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Pallene works the jab nicely.
Pallene connects with a nice looking jab.

Pallene bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hoost's head backwards.
Pallene scores with a nice head shot.
That has opened up Clarence Hoost's cut even more.
Pallene misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Hoost counter with a right hand.
Hoost drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Pallene right on the button. Pallene goes down! Hoost follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hoost gets the win via TKO!

In his post fight interview, Clarence Hoost started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
