Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, William Moneybags!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sammy Jam!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moneybags cracks Jam with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Moneybags scores with a nice strike.
A left and a right from Moneybags both land. Nice combination.
Moneybags scores with a head kick. Jam tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Moneybags lands a two punch combo.
Moneybags feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jams jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jam is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Moneybags connects with a jab.
Jam is still on wobbly legs! Can Moneybags finish him?
Jam closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moneybags did well to prevent Jam getting side control.
Moneybags pushes Jam off but Jam dives into side control.
Jam seems to have recovered his senses.
Jam stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Moneybags dips to his left and cracks Jam with an uppercut!
Jam takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Moneybags throws a sloppy head kick
and Jam counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jam.
Jam stands and throws Moneybags's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Moneybags is not content to let Jam control the position.
Moneybags knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jam on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jam postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Jam trying to control the position but Moneybags is working away.
Jam in side control, throwing shots but Moneybags defends.
Jam advances nicely into full mount.
Jam thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jam trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Moneybags is trying to reverse the position but instead Jam has taken his back - oops!
Jam has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Moneybags! Can he survive? No! He's out! Jam gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sammy Jam!
