In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 3 losses; Koryu Miyagi! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 33 wins and 20 losses; George Arias! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Arias gets the takedown into side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Miyagi (0) vs (4) Arias The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miyagi is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Arias working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
