Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Barnes (ranked 3322 p4p, 5927 weight class) and Sacrificial Lamb (ranked 432 p4p, 636 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abraham Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sacrificial Lamb!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb needs to keep his hands up - Barnes had a free shot at his head there.
Barnes throws a leg kick
and Lamb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barnes misses with an uppercut. Lamb saw that one coming.
Barnes has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Lamb pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lamb throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barnes sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barnes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lamb counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A low kick from Barnes is predictable there
and Lamb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Barnes comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Barnes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lamb.
Lamb throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Barnes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lamb's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lamb has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Barnes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lamb has tightened it up now! Barnes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Sacrificial Lamb!
