Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Osvald lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bazemore backs up against the cage.
Osvald swings widly with a right hand
and Bazemore counters by moving into the clinch.
Osvald has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Bazemore is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bazemore keeps control of Osvald as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bazemore has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Osvald is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bazemore.
Osvald is trying to get an arm triangle but Bazemore is defending well.
Bazemore tries to improve position but can't.
Osvald decides to stand back up. Osvald steps back and let's Bazemore get back to his feet.
Bazemore with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Osvald to score with a decent uppercut.
Bazemore decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Osvald manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Bazemore keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Osvald is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bazemore is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Osvald to the mat. Osvald regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Bazemore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Osvald is fending him off so far but Bazemore persists. Nope, Osvald circles away and we're back to standing.
Bazemore tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Osvald swivels and escapes.
Bazemore manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Osvald on his heels. He'll look to pass Osvald's guard now, I'm sure.

Osvald feints a jab promting Bazemore to slip. Osvald then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bazemore slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

so Bazemore counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Osvald scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Osvald darts in and clinches Bazemore up against the cage.
Osvald is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bazemore is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Osvald to the mat. Osvald regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Osvald is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bazemore presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bazemore has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Osvald clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Osvald is trying to get back to his feet but Bazemore has full control of the position and if anything, Osvald has just worked his way into a worse spot.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bazemore doesn't have the hooks in and Osvald manages to turn into his guard.

Osvald swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've been informed that Bazemore has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Osvald forces Bazemore back against the cage and clinches.
Bazemore has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Osvald avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bazemore has hold of one of Osvald's legs. Osvald is fighting the takedown attempt but Bazemore gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Osvald is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bazemore presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Bazemore lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Osvald has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bazemore is working away from the top position though.

Bazemore takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Bazemore content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Bazemore gets to his feet and stands over Osvald, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Osvald felt that one! Bazemore unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Osvald from any more punishment!

Kendric Bazemore bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
