Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Panda Aorigele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gary Sparxx!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparxx throws a body shot but no joy.
Aorigele throws a lazy uppercut
and Sparxx connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sparxx fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aorigele.
Aorigele with a hook.
Aorigele pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aorigele walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Aorigele is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sparxx slips under a jab from Aorigele.
Sparxx lands with a cross.
It looks like Panda Aorigele has been cut.
A right-left combo lands from Aorigele.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aorigele blocks a jab.
Sparxx cracks Aorigele with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sparxx has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Aorigele to stand back up!
Aorigele is rocked!
Aorigele is aggressively charging in as Sparxx backs up avoiding any damage. Sparxx tosses out a jab and Aorigele runs right into it face first! Aorigele is out cold! Sparxx dropped down on all fours and is barking in Aorigele's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gary Sparxx!
Gary Sparxx very nearly forgot to thank Altitude Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
