Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Smash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Nasty looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Smash!

Nasty throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Smash is trying to escape the mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nasty goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Smash is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Smash is fighting to break Nasty's control of his arms but Nasty is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Nasty drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Nasty creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smash sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Smash is not content to let Nasty control the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nasty has hold of Smash's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smash manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Nasty has control of Smash's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Smash regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Smash had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Nasty is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Smash Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Nasty's back instead.

Nasty turns into Smash and is now in his guard.

Nasty working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Smash's head.
Nasty trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Smash wants to control the position but Nasty says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Smash scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Nasty manages to mount him!
