Outlaw comes to the cage accompanied by Moonshine Bandits For The Outlawz. Gracie has chosen Thriller by Michael Jackson as his entrance music. John Wayne Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wayne Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw throws the kick towards the body but Gracie avoids it.
Outlaw throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily.
Outlaw connects with a looping right hand.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Outlaw moves away.

Outlaw lands a head kick that stumbles Gracie and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like John Wayne Gracie has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Outlaw landing with the ground and pound.
Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Outlaw has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Outlaw is aware though and is defending well.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Outlaw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Outlaw manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Outlaw is looking to work some ground and pound but Gracie has wrist control.
Outlaw postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Gracie covers up, he's hurt! Outlaw keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Outlaw and the ref steps in to end the fight! Outlaw can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
