Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ed Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 47 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tel Britton!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a big uppercut and Britton crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Britton looks OK. Jones waves Britton back to his feet!
It looks like Tel Britton has been cut.
Britton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Britton out cold! What a finish! Jones is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ed Jones!
Ed Jones tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
The defeated Tel Britton had this to say: '...Next time.'.
