Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, William S Burroughs!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burroughs checks the leg kick.
Burroughs is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Effiong walks into a stiff left hand from Burroughs.
Decent striking displayed by Burroughs there.
Burroughs drops Effiong with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Effiong looks back up at him and smiles so Burroughs waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Effiong is rocked!
Effiong throws a head kick that misses
and Burroughs counters by clinching up.
Oh Effiong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Effiong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Burroughs is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Effiong flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Effiong is out cold! Burroughs holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). William S Burroughs!
