Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sam Wilber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mitch McGregor!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilber throws an off balance right hand
and McGregor counters with a body kick.
Wilber misses with a hook
and McGregor counters with a nice body shot.
Wilber throws a looping overhand right but McGregor ducks down to avoid it.
McGregor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Donk. McGregor catches Wilber right on the button with a cross.
McGregor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McGregor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
McGregor connects with a high kick.

It looks like Sam Wilber has been cut.
A cross from McGregor lands.
A lazy left from McGregor finds it's target.
Wilber misses with a looping right.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wilber drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
McGregor lands a jab to the nose.
Wilber throws a looping overhand right but McGregor ducks down to avoid it.
That kick from McGregor tenderised Wilber's leg. Wilber is trying to keep his angry face on.
McGregor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

McGregor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Wilber misses with a straight right.
McGregor lands a nice looking body shot.
Wilber connects with the punch.
McGregor scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wilber missing with a left hand there. McGregor was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A jab from Wilber finds it's way through McGregor's defenses.
A good leg kick by McGregor.
McGregor cracks Wilber with a right hand to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wilber throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McGregor looks like he wants to counter punch here.
McGregor throws a nice outside leg kick.

McGregor cracks Wilber with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
McGregor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Nice uppercut lands for McGregor. That snapped Wilber's head back.
McGregor with a nice cross.
McGregor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McGregor fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Wilber takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wilber is breathing heavily.
Nice uppercut there from McGregor.

McGregor lands a big head kick that sends Wilber tumbling to the mat! McGregor takes a step backwards and waves Wilber back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McGregor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
McGregor misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wilber has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McGregor finds it's way round the side to connect with Wilber's head.

Sam Wilber's cut is getting worse.
Wilber throws an off balance right hand
and McGregor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Wilber is rocked!
The crowd cheers as McGregor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wilber doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Wilber is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilber is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
McGregor feints and then cracks Wilber's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wilber down.
Wilber seems to have got his legs back now.
Wilber looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McGregor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wilber had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wilber misses with a hook.
McGregor keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Wilber dives in for a single leg takedown but McGregor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

McGregor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wilber misses the jab.
McGregor is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Mitch McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGregor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wilber. That did some damage!

McGregor lands a big head kick that sends Wilber tumbling to the mat! McGregor takes a step backwards and waves Wilber back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wilber loads up on a big right hand but McGregor slips the punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wilber throws a jab but it's blocked by McGregor.
Wilber on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wilber slips a jab and a cross from McGregor.
Wilber throws an off balance right hand
and McGregor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wilber tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McGregor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wilber momentarily.
McGregor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wilber on the side of the head.

Sam Wilber's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wilber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGregor.

McGregor drops Wilber with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilber looks back up at him and smiles so McGregor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McGregor closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wilber! McGregor dives in looking to finish! Wilber is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch McGregor!
After winning the bout, Mitch McGregor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
