Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aingot Nofud (ranked 57 p4p, 248 weight class) and Vasil Petrov (ranked 10 p4p, 44 weight class). Nofud comes to the cage accompanied by Van Hackson 5 - Mean Machine. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Nofud pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Nofud really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nofud throws a shot from downtown. Petrov moves away and avoids it.
And Petrov responds with a good body kick, but Nofud manages to step out the way in time.
Nofud misses the body punch
and Petrov counters with a one-two to the body.
Petrov defending well as Nofud loads up on a big left hand.
Nofud misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Petrov.
Nofud pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petrov blocks the body kick.
Petrov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
It seemed like Petrov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Nofud misses with a hook. Petrov ducked under it nicely.
Petrov throws out a counter right but Nofud avoids it with no problem.
Nofud takes a swing at Petrov's ribcage but misses.

Petrov moves out of range of the strikes.
Nofud lands a jab to the nose.
Aingot Nofud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nofud throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little jabbing left from Petrov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Petrov throws a head kick that misses.
Petrov slips a jab from Nofud.
It seemed like Petrov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Petrov dodges the punch combination from Nofud.
Nofud swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Petrov counters with a head kick that drops Nofud to the mat! Nofud scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Petrov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

and Petrov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nofud fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Petrov checks a low kick from Nofud.
A little jabbing left from Petrov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nofud works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Vasil Petrov has been cut.
Petrov get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Petrov stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Nofud runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
