Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rousso Phobe (ranked 3003 p4p, 4077 weight class) and Yeshua Allah (ranked 175 p4p, 231 weight class). Rousso Phobe has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rousso Phobe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yeshua Allah! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Allah lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Phobe circles away quickly and effectively. Phobe walks into a jab. Allah lands a jab to Phobe's midsection. Yeshua Allah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Allah lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Phobe is rocked! Phobe clinches with his opponent.
Oh Phobe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Phobe. Phobe seems to have got his legs back now. Phobe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Allah is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Phobe jumps guard and drags Allah to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Allah won't allow Phobe to sweep him here. Allah wants to control from the top but Phobe keeps moving. Allah content to stall in guard here. Allah tries to free his leg and advance position but Phobe is retaining full guard. Phobe will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Allah is fighting to break Phobe's control of his arms but Phobe is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Phobe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Allah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Allah with a nice head shot there. Phobe looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Allah wants to control from the top but Phobe keeps moving. Allah pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Phobe is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Allah won't allow Phobe to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Phobe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Allah was covering up waiting for the punch and Phobe finishes the takedown easily into guard. Phobe has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Phobe's corner is telling him to maintain position. Phobe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Phobe showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Allah working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Phobe trying to control but Allah is working from the bottom. Allah controls Phobe momentarily but Phobe frees himself. Allah keeping moving, preventing Phobe from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Phobe chips away with some ground and pound. Phobe looking to pass the guard. Phobe trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Allah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Allah wants it to stay on the feet. Phobe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Allah looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Allah is looking for a sweep. Phobe throws an elbow but Allah slips to the side and avoids it well. Allah manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Allah preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Phobe thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Allah's head. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rousso Phobe will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Phobe moves into the clinch. Allah is looking to break free of the clinch but Phobe has double underhooks. Phobe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Allah gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Phobe misses with a body punch.
Allah wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Phobe has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Phobe jumps guard but Allah turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Phobe gets control of Allah's arms and successfully pulls guard. Phobe will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Allah advances position into side control! Phobe is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Allah is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Phobe is looking to improve his position but Allah isn't that keen on the idea. Allah throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Phobe has his hands clasped together but Allah breaks the hold and Phobe is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Allah!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Yeshua Allah! A relieved looking Yeshua Allah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
