Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Roger Dawson (ranked 2739 p4p, 2345 weight class) and J Gay G (ranked 273 p4p, 233 weight class). Gay G comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dawson.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gay G. Dawson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dawson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tōshi in the buildup to the fight.
Gay G lands a slapping body shot.
Dawson looks for the body kick but Gay G saw that one coming.
Dawson misses with a looping left.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dawson wants to clinch up but Gay G keeps it at a distance.
Gay G needs to keep his hands up - Dawson had a free shot at his head there.
Gay G comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gay G scores with a jab to the head.
Gay G ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oooooh!!! Dawson has knocked Gay G down with a huge combo! Dawson steps away and waves a wobbly Gay G back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Gay G is rocked!

Dawson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gay G.
Gay G is still on wobbly legs! Can Dawson finish him?
Dawson drops Gay G with a straight right hand, right on the button! Dawson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roger Dawson!
Roger Dawson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
