Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zak Foley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Brockington!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley throws a leg kick which misses Brockington's front leg but catches the back leg as Brockington tries to avoid it.
Brockington takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Foley feints and then cracks Brockington's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brockington down.
Foley scores with a spinning back kick!
Foley looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Foley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Brockington looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Foley!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brockington is looking to take a break and control but Foley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Brockington trying to control but Foley is working from the bottom.
Foley has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Foley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Foley is looking to stall here but Brockington recovers full guard.
Brockington keeping moving, preventing Foley from controlling successfully.
Brockington avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Foley with a flurry of punches that miss.
Foley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Brockington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Foley's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Foley wants to get back to his feet but Brockington is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Brockington trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Brockington wants to control from the top but Foley keeps moving.
Foley has control of Brockington's left arm, preventing Brockington from doing any damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Foley is on top in guard.

Brockington is looking for a kimura but Foley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brockington to get the leverage.

Foley stands up from guard. Let's bang!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foley connects with a crisp jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zak Foley dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Foley connects with a nice looking jab.
Foley fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Brockington closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Foley connects with a body shot that sends Brockington's belly button to the back.
Foley connects with a high kick.
Foley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Brockington. That did some damage!
Foley scores with a nice strike.
Foley misses with an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brockington drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Foley defends it well.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brockington.

Foley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brockington moves away.
Foley lands a leg kick that knocks Brockington off balance momentarily.
Foley misses with a wild body shot.
Foley plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Kevin Brockington has been cut.
Brockington with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Foley to score with a decent uppercut.

Brockington is rocked!
Brockington uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Foley.
Brockington is still on wobbly legs! Can Foley finish him?
Foley digs a good body shot into Brockington's ribs.
Brockington seems to have recovered his senses.
Foley lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Foley cracks Brockington with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Brockington falls to his knees and Foley doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
