And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Never Hurry!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ax shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hurry counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Demolition Ax has been cut.
Hurry lands a body shot.
Hurry lands a big uppercut and Ax crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ax looks OK. Hurry waves Ax back to his feet!
Ax fails with the takedown
and Hurry counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Ax out cold! What a finish! Hurry is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Never Hurry!
In his post fight interview, Never Hurry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
