Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Furnum Pullum!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sight!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pullum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sight.
Sight scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Sight throws out a loose jab but Pullum uses good head movement to avoid it.

Pullum has managed to clinch.
Sight has had enough of the clinch but Pullum keeps him there for the moment.

Sight's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sight misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pullum is looking to counter punch.
Pullum shoots for a double leg takedown but Sight sprawls well. He's pushed Pullum's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No joy there for Sight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pullum drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sight keeping moving, preventing Pullum from controlling successfully.
Pullum stands and throws Sight's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pullum wants to control but Sight is keeping him busy.

An elbow from Pullum crashes against the mat.
Pullum postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pullum fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Pullum is staying tight to Sight's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Sight is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Sight gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Pullum with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sight felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Sight is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Pullum postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sight looks a forlorn figure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sight is trying to stand up.

Pullum looking to secure an arm triangle but Sight defends it well.
Sight really wants to buck Pullum off and get back to his feet.

Pullum lands a nice shot to the head.
Sight is trying to stand up.

Pullum cracks Sight with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
