Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Naulakko (ranked 325 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Pfeifer (ranked 50 p4p, 0 weight class). Pertti Naulakko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pertti Naulakko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 13 - 1, fighting out of London, Ricardo Pfeifer! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pfeifer throws a leg kick which misses Naulakko's front leg but catches the back leg as Naulakko tries to avoid it. Pfeifer throws a series of punches but Naulakko moves out of range. Pfeifer just misses with a punch to the body.
Naulakko connects with a body shot. Naulakko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Naulakko blocks the body kick.
Pfeifer jabs Naulakko right on the nose. Naulakko blinks but takes it well. Naulakko throws out a loose jab but Pfeifer uses good head movement to avoid it. Pfeifer paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Naulakko just misses with a punch to the body.
Naulakko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Naulakko falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pfeifer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pfeifer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Naulakko looks to land a left hand but Pfeifer moved out of range nicely. Naulakko lands the left hand. Naulakko throws an overhand right that lands on Pfeifer's shoulder, as Pfeifer tries to avoid the shot. Pfeifer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Naulakko with a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slapping body kick lands there for Pfeifer. Pfeifer lands an overhand right. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Pfeifer! Naulakko is out on his feet! Pfeifer rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Naulakko is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Naulakko is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricardo Pfeifer!
