Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dark lands in his opponent's guard.
Leiva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dark drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dark jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Dark throwing strikes from guard but Leiva blocks nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leiva has a closed guard, preventing Dark from standing up.
Leiva looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dark puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Leiva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dark is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Dark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Leiva is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dark, into his guard.

Dark manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Dark stands up from mount. Strange move.
Leiva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dark shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Leiva but Leiva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Dark drops back, looking for a kneebar! Leiva looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Leiva looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Leiva!

and Dark counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leiva won't be happy with that.

Dark working for a triangle but Leiva defends it easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Dark swats away the attempt to clinch by Leiva.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Leiva shoots and misses
and Dark counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dark is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Dark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leiva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dark tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dark had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Leiva is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dark Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Leiva's back instead.
Leiva tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Leiva slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dark not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Leiva is looking to improve his position.
Dark wants to free his trapped foot but Leiva is holding on for dear life with his legs.
