Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clifford Val Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Ivy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salvacion is trying to defend but Ivy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivy wants to stand up but Salvacion has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Ivy shoots for a double leg takedown but Salvacion sprawls well. He's pushed Ivy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ivy but Ivy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Salvacion enables Ivy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Salvacion manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

And Salvacion counters with a quick kick to the body but Ivy blocks it.

Salvacion fires out a quick counter leg kick but Ivy just manages to avoid it.

Ivy steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Salvacion throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ivy's waist but Ivy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salvacion off to one side.

Salvacion is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ivy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
And Ivy responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time.

Salvacion has a hand on Ivy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ivy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Salvacion is working to get back to half guard.
Salvacion tries to lock up and control but Ivy gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Clifford Val Salvacion has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Poison Ivy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
