Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgin Mary!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mary swivels and escapes.
Mary shoots in but Salvacion avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mary but Mary pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Despite the aggression on Mary's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mary shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salvacion as he jumps to the side.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mary as he avoids it easily.

and Salvacion counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Mary finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Mary steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.

Virgin Mary showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Virgin Mary is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Salvacion feints and as Mary raises his hands in defense, Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Virgin Mary.
Well Mary has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
