Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Surf's hands.
Nelson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Surf defends well and Nelson ends up having to push Surf into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Surf tries to counter with a takedown but Nelson is quick to defend against it.

Nelson pushes Surf up against the cage in a clinch.
Nelson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Surf blocks it with crossed arms.

Nelson manages to pull guard.
Surf looking to sit in guard and control but Nelson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Surf is looking to stand up but Nelson isn't so interested in that idea.
Surf keeping moving, preventing Nelson from controlling successfully.
Nelson stands and throws Surf's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Surf wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Surf throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Surf walks into a stiff left hand from Nelson.

Surf explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Surf has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Surf there as he acknowledges the shot.

Surf really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nelson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Surf as he avoids it easily.

Nelson fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Surf out cold! Brutal finish!
