Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Shamrock (ranked 1917 p4p, 2405 weight class) and Seok Yi (ranked 189 p4p, 232 weight class). Shamrock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Canned Heat- Going Up The Country. Yi comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chris Travis - We Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brandon Shamrock could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Seok Yi's chin.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shamrock clinches with his opponent.
Still in the clinch, Yi scores with a nice short uppercut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Shamrock haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Shamrock has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Yi finds it's way round the side to connect with Shamrock's head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Shamrock creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Yi swings wildly with an uppercut but Shamrock uses good head movement to avoid it.
Yi throws a punch but it's blocked by Shamrock.

Shamrock tries to pull guard but Yi holds him up against the cage and eventually Shamrock drops back down to his feet.

Yi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A very excited looking Seok Yi rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
