Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Dean (ranked 2457 p4p, 4412 weight class) and Konstantinos Karamitroudis (ranked 343 p4p, 530 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konstantinos Karamitroudis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dean is rocked!

Karamitroudis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Dean is trying to escape back to his feet but Karamitroudis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Oh Dean is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Karamitroudis works to advance to full mount. Dean defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Dean seems to have got his legs back now.

Dean ducks under a wild hook from Karamitroudis.

Karamitroudis moves in looking to clinch but Dean pushes him off.

Dean slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Karamitroudis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dean swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Karamitroudis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dean lands a really nice looking cross but Karamitroudis seems unphased.

Karamitroudis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A jab from Dean does it's job there.

Dean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Karamitroudis sprawling to the canvas! Karamitroudis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dean finish him?!

Karamitroudis is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Karamitroudis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dean manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Dean scores with a counter punch that sends Karamitroudis to the canvas! Dean smells blood - he's punishing Karamitroudis with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Karamitroudis has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
