Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lee Kevin (ranked 3165 p4p, 22996 weight class) and Walter Wiener (ranked 384 p4p, 617 weight class). Walter Wiener is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lee Kevin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walter Wiener! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiener gets tackled into the cage by Kevin. Kevin maintains the clinch. Wiener pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kevin misses with a leg kick. Kevin has closed the distance and engaged Wiener in a clinch.
I was talking to Kevin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Wiener escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wiener swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kevin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kevin misses with a series of wild punches.
Wiener looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Kevin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kevin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wiener moves away. Wiener is trying to counter with his kicks. Wiener is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kevin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wiener swats him away and circles back towards the center. Wiener pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've been informed that Wiener has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Kevin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wiener is trying to defend but Kevin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wiener pushes Kevin off looking to stand but Kevin dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kevin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wiener does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kevin is controlling the pace.
Wiener is trying to stand up here but Kevin is controlling him well. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Wiener is staying active underneath Kevin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. No luck for Kevin with that takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kevin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wiener is trying to defend but Kevin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kevin trying to control from half guard but Wiener is working away. Wiener is trying to stand.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kevin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiener is looking to escape. Kevin passes to full mount! Kevin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kevin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wiener is looking to escape. Wiener is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lee Kevin dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Kevin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wiener is fending him off so far but Kevin persists. Nope, Wiener circles away and we're back to standing. Walter Wiener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wiener pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Kevin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wiener. Wiener throws a push kick but Kevin slaps the foot to one side. Wiener tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kevin is able to avoid easily. Wiener throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kevin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wiener to the ground. Kevin is now in Wiener's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kevin working some strikes from top position. Kevin postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kevin trying to control but Wiener is working from the bottom. Kevin content to stall in guard here. Kevin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kevin trying to control but Wiener is working from the bottom. Lee Kevin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kevin forces his way into half guard. Wiener is trying to stand back up but Kevin is controlling him

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kevin looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Kevin is controlling the pace.
Wiener wants to get back to his feet. Kevin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Wiener looks to land a body kick but Kevin moved away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kevin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wiener manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A solid body kick from Wiener. Wiener chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kevin throws a front kick aimed at Wiener's knee but Wiener avoids it well. Wiener is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kevin with a body shot. Kevin moves out of range as Wiener throws a body kick.
A little feinted left hand from Kevin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kevin throws a right and a left that both miss. Kevin moves out of range of the body kick from Wiener.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiener misses with a body kick. Kevin is looking to counter punch. Kevin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

As Wiener looks to move away, Kevin throws a big counter combo but Wiener just gets out of the way. Kevin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wiener follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Wiener lands a head kick!
Wiener misses with a kick to the body and Kevin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wiener won't be happy with that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiener on the wrong end of some ground and pound. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Wiener is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kevin has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walter Wiener showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Kevin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Wiener lands a high kick!
Kevin is rocked! Wiener feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Kevin collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Walter Wiener! A relieved looking Walter Wiener thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
