Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Leveille (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges StPierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leveille might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cowboys From Hell. Leveille is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges StPierre!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
StPierre shoots in and bounces Leveille off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Leveille is breathing heavily.
StPierre stands up and waves to Leveille to follow him.
StPierre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
StPierre fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leveille sprawls well initially but StPierre persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
StPierre trying to mount his opponent but Leveille defends it.
StPierre content to control rather than advance.

Let's hope that StPierre has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leveille knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for StPierre on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

StPierre cracks Leveille with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leveille is squirming around, avoiding StPierre's attempts to control the action.
Despite being in the dominant position, Georges StPierre just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
StPierre pushes Leveille up against the cage in a clinch.
StPierre can't break the clinch.
StPierre is looking to break free of the clinch but Leveille has double underhooks.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
StPierre avoiding damage as Leveille throws knees to the body.
StPierre tries to pull guard but Leveille won't allow it.
StPierre can't get the takedown.

StPierre has had enough of the clinch but Leveille keeps him there for the moment.
StPierre has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Leveille is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
StPierre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leveille walks away with a smile on his face. StPierre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and StPierre counters with a nice double leg into side control. Leveille won't be happy with that.

StPierre decides to stand back up. StPierre steps back and let's Leveille get back to his feet.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Leveille.
StPierre misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by StPierre or perhaps it was just good defense by Leveille which made him look bad.
Leveille stuffs the takedown.
StPierre looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
StPierre is keen to just control but Leveille is a slippery customer.
Leveille on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leveille tries to get out of the position.

StPierre tries to score with some ground and pound. Leveille controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Leveille is trying to buck StPierre off.
StPierre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
StPierre stands up.

StPierre shoots in but Leveille avoids the takedown attempt easily.

StPierre misses with a wild body shot.
Leveille fails with the takedown.
Leveille tries to clinch there but StPierre circles away.
Leveille throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
StPierre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - StPierre lands in his opponent's guard.

Leveille wants to stand and escape but StPierre is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
StPierre gets to his feet. Leveille looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Georges StPierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Leveille's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Georges StPierre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
