Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azure Solid (ranked 4715 p4p, 4741 weight class) and DeVon Hampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Azure Solid has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Azure Solid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DeVon Hampton!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Solid's waist but Solid gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hampton off to one side.
Hampton shoots for a double leg takedown but Solid sprawls well. He's pushed Hampton's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hampton misses with a takedown attempt - Solid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hampton looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Azure Solid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeVon Hampton.

Solid gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hampton is fighting to break Solid's control of his arms but Solid is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Solid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hampton on the ground.
Hampton connects with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Solid has control of Hampton's left arm, preventing Hampton from doing any damage.

Solid will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hampton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hampton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Solid's head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hampton's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hampton passes into half guard.
Hampton works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hampton loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Solid scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hampton land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hampton stands and salutes the crowd.
