PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Psiris Fuhren (ranked 2063 p4p, 653 weight class) and Longsun Zhao (ranked 300 p4p, 98 weight class). Fuhren comes into the arena with Everybody Dies blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhao cracks Fuhren with a good jab.
A head kick misses from Zhao.
Fuhren avoids the head kick by Zhao.
Good shot there by Fuhren.

It looks like Longsun Zhao has been cut.
Fuhren misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zhao.
Zhao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fuhren was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Fuhren jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zhao takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fuhren works Zhao's body with a nice hook.
Fuhren cracks Zhao with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zhao throws a hook to the side of Fuhren's head but Fuhren sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zhao misses with a combination
and Fuhren counters with a stiff right hand.

Zhao is rocked!
Zhao loses concentration momentarily and Fuhren pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Zhao crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Fuhren finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

After winning the bout, Psiris Fuhren thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
